2nd & 3rd learn about biodiversity

We loved having Paul from Ballaghderg Garden Centre in our class this morning. He spoke to the children from 2nd and 3rd class about wild birds, biodiversity and the children were delighted to help Paul construct bird feeders.
The children explored the grounds outside and helped Paul choose a sheltered spot to hang their bird feeders. They then took turns filling the feeders with apples and water for the birds. We loved learning all about the different wild birds and what they like to eat.
Thank you Paul from Ballaghderg Garden Centre for taking time out to come visit us.
