In maths we have been learning about subtraction and we have been sharing different strategies to help each other.
We enjoyed writing stories and had great fun using ‘Rory’s story cubes’ which gave us lots of ideas. We are great readers in First Class and we are asking lots of questions about our books as we read. Have a go! Just start with I wonder……..
We are really enjoying singing with Máire. She has taught us story songs like ‘The Lollipop Tree’ and ‘Down The Way’. We hope you’ve had a chance to hear them.
Our Gaeilge is ‘an mhaith’. Every day we practice our speaking during roll. We can talk about how we feel, what we are wearing and the weather along with lots of other things.
We are a very kind bunch in First class. We are respectful of each other and help each other out. We filled our bucket with lots of kind gestures and treated ourselves to a film and popcorn.
Our beans are growing, Spring is coming and we are looking forward to lots more learning.
