Rosh Hashanah in 1st class

We celebrated the Jewish Festival of Rosh Hashanah last week.  We saw in the Jewish New Year by eating sweet apples with honey and pomegranate seeds.  For many of us it was our first taste of pomegranate and most of us loved them.  The seeds of the pomegranate along with the apples and honey represent all the sweet, kind acts we can do in the following year.  Each seed represents each kind act.  There are hundreds of seeds in a pomegranate so we plan to do lots of small acts of kindness each day.    Shanah Tovah!
