Magnets and maths fun

We had great fun exploring with magnets this week.  We learnt new vocabulary including attract and repel while we made mazes for paper clips to travel through with the help of a magnet. Numicom is a favourite maths resource in our classroom and we used this to help with adding and subtracting.

The Nutcracker by 1st and 2nd class

1st and 2nd class really enjoyed working with Jessica and Tadhg from Zona Dance. Movement, dance and drama were all incorporated into a session based on the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.
