First class have been learning about the local community and the different jobs people do to support it.
We were really lucky to have Donal’s Dad, John in today to talk about his job. John is an Air Sea Rescue paramedic who told us all about being a “winchman” and how he helps to save lives. It was really interesting and we enjoyed asking questions and finding out more. John brought in the special uniform that he has to wear. It reminded some of us of astronauts. Thank you to John.
We are looking forward to hearing from a few more parents. If you give Edwina a call she will organise a date with you. Please do not feel obliged to come in. Just talking to your child about your job or completing the questions sent home gives us lots of information too.
